Rajah & Tann Asia (RTA) has reinforced its position as a leading regional disputes powerhouse in the Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2026 Guide, recording notable year‑on‑year growth in both scope and depth across the network.
In the 2026 edition, the network achieved 40 firm rankings and 63 ranked lawyers across seven jurisdictions, up from 30 ranked practice areas and 52 lawyers across six jurisdictions in 2025. The results reflect the network’s continued investment in strengthening its litigation and dispute resolution capabilities across Asia.
Singapore
Rajah & Tann Singapore successfully retained all 10 firm rankings in Tier 1, maintaining its top tier standing across the board. In addition, the firm secured new firm rankings in Commodities and Trade, and Technology, Data and Privacy. The firm also welcomed six new lawyers into the rankings, bringing the total number of recognised lawyers to 42, placing it among the top 3 firms with the highest number of lawyers recognised.
Indonesia
Assegaf Hamzah & Partners achieved a new highly ranked firm ranking in White Collar Crime, adding to its established strength in contentious and regulatory matters. The firm also welcomed one new lawyer to the rankings.
Philippines
Gatmaytan Yap Patacsil Gutierrez & Protacio (C&G Law) recorded improved rankings in International Arbitration and Tax, and achieved a new firm ranking in White Collar Crime.
China
Rajah & Tann Singapore’s Shanghai and Shenzhen Representative Offices were recognised for their Construction disputes capabilities, extending the network’s ranked presence in Greater China.
Malaysia
Christopher & Lee Ong maintained six firm rankings, reinforcing its established standing across multiple contentious practice areas.
Thailand
Rajah & Tann (Thailand) Limited maintained its five firm rankings and five lawyer rankings, continuing its consistent performance year on year.
Vietnam
