Indonesia Investments and Projects: Challenges, Conflicts and Success Stories

On 2 September 2024, Rajah & Tann Asia member firms Assegaf Hamzah & Partners and Rajah & Tann Singapore organised a seminar titled “Indonesia Investments and Projects: Challenges, Conflicts and Success Stories”.

Amidst Indonesia’s increasing influence within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (“ASEAN“) region and its prominence in international trade and investment, businesses need to prepare themselves for new challenges that may arise in the ever-changing global environment. At the seminar, the speakers talked about the complex landscape of cross-border investments and projects in Indonesia and the ASEAN region. They also explored strategies in managing conflicts and resolving disputes between and among parties to such investments and projects.

The speakers at the seminar included Eri Hertiawan, Simon Barrie Sasmoyo and Alvin Ambardy from Assegaf Hamzah & Partners; and Ng Kim Beng and Tan Chuan Thye, SC from Rajah & Tann Singapore.
