On 7 July 2025, Rajah & Tann held its LearningBytes seminar series for the month, titled “Never Waste a Good Crisis – A Lawyer’s Take on Business Re-Organisation and Strategies to Future Proof an Asian Business”.
In the current volatile market landscape, crises represent more than an obstacle. They can serve as catalysts for transformation, innovation and growth. Moreover, ongoing economic disruptions, geopolitical changes, and evolving regulations are continually altering the ways organisations conduct their businesses and make investment decisions.
Drawing from their experience advising clients across Southeast Asia, the speakers explored how businesses in Asia can turn disruption into opportunity by reassessing priorities, restructuring strategically, and future-proofing their operations. The speakers comprised Partners Chester Toh, Alroy Chan and Khairil Suhairee from the Corporate Commercial Practice, and Foo Xian Fong from the Commercial Litigation Practice. Chester and Alroy are also Director and Partner, respectively, of Rajah & Tann Myanmar.
