On 18 and 19 August 2025, SUTD Academy, Rajah & Tann Singapore and Rajah & Tann Technologies co-organised an Expert Masterclass on Mastering AI Ethics and Governance.
Artificial intelligence (“AI“) is transforming industries and altering everyday life, seamlessly assuming decision-making roles traditionally reserved for humans. This rapid advancement highlights the pressing need to address the ethical issues associated with AI’s development and use. The ethics of AI goes beyond mere compliance. It involves earning the trust of all stakeholders by fostering fairness, transparency, the ability to explain decisions, and keeping humans at the centre. The speakers discussed how these principles can be effectively implemented in practice. They looked at tools and frameworks that help navigate AI challenges responsibly and strategically, and offered insights into global AI ethics frameworks and actionable governance practices.
Rajesh Sreenivasan, Head of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice, was one of the speakers.
