Alfred has an impressive track record of over 30 years spanning law, banking and structured finance. Legally trained, Alfred began his career at a large leading Singapore law firm in 1994 and later expanded his international experience with a two-year stint at Lovells of London (now known as Hogan Lovells).

He transitioned into the business world with Keppel Land, where he led real estate and structured finance initiatives, before moving to JPMorgan to spearhead their real estate securitisation business in Singapore. Landmark deals fronted by Alfred include complex, cross-border securitisation and financing deals, one of which won the IFR Asia Securitisation Deal of the Year award, as well as several ground-breaking fund-raising deals for Singapore REITs.

Alfred’s multifaceted expertise spans banking, capital markets, structured finance, debt restructuring, and legal advisory. He has developed strong relationships with C-suite executives across sovereign wealth funds, government-linked corporations, global private equity firms, and financial institutions.

For the past 15 years, Alfred had been the driving force behind the remarkable growth of the corporate banking business at Mizuho Bank Singapore. His tenure culminated in his esteemed position as Head of Corporate Banking and Managing Director, a testament to his exceptional leadership and strategic vision. He played a pivotal role in facilitating a wide range of financing solutions and multi-billion-dollar fund raisings for numerous top-tier clients.
