Acquisition of Six-Hotel Singapore Hospitality Portfolio

Rajah & Tann Singapore, member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, acted for affiliates of Worldwide Hotels in the acquisition of a portfolio of six budget hotels in Singapore’s Geylang district. The transaction was structured through a combination of five direct property acquisitions and the acquisition of a hotel-owning special purpose vehicle, with a total transaction value of approximately S$355.3 million. Partners Norman Ho from the Corporate Real Estate Practice and Loh Chun Kiat from the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice led the transaction.
