On 14th September 2024, Rajah & Tann Singapore joined ITE College East students under Bethesda Care Services’ BCS@College East programme, in a creative upcycling workshop to transform orange peels into eco enzymes and body scrubs.
Conducted by The Sustainability Project, this initiative aims to help the youths build up confidence and interaction skills as well as impart awareness of the waste landscape and the roles we all play to reduce waste. It was an interesting morning as Rajah & Tann volunteers connected with the students, all while gaining insights on our responsibility in environmental sustainability.
Rajah & Tann Foundation is pleased to have sponsored this workshop, to mark the upcoming UN International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction on 29th September.
We thoroughly enjoyed this creative and fulfilling experience with the students and wish them all the best as they pursue a bright and sustainable future!
