Singapore, 11 September 2024 – Rajah & Tann Singapore (R&T) has announced a significant leap forward in its innovation journey by partnering with legal tech innovator Harvey.
This collaboration aims to develop an R&T workforce equipped with the right skills and mindset to enhance service delivery through the integration of generative AI and other advanced technologies.
As an early adopter of generative AI tools, R&T has already embarked on this journey in 2023 with the implementation of Copilot for Microsoft 365.
The partnership with Harvey, formalised on 11 September 2024 at the main stage of the TechLaw.Fest 2024, aims to further this commitment by leveraging Harvey’s advanced AI platform to streamline legal tasks such as drafting, contract review and analysis, summarising legal documents and correspondence and other routine legal tasks. This will allow R&T lawyers to focus more on complex and strategic legal matters.
Harvey takes a strategic approach to staffing by hiring skilled legal professionals proficient in gen AI to help their clients embrace the solution. Leveraging Harvey’s strengths, R&T aims to develop a workforce with the digital skills and right mindset to enhance service delivery using generative AI and other technologies. Recognising the critical importance of responsible data handling as we embrace more technological solutions in our work and processes, R&T has appointed a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to oversee robust security protocols.
