On August 17, 2024, volunteers from Rajah & Tann Singapore hosted an exciting pizza party for kids participating in the Singapore Red Cross’ Young Hearts programme in Yishun. The Young Hearts programme seeks to empower and uplift youths of families living in public rental housing.
We enjoyed an afternoon of fun games, an impromptu football match, and the highlight of the party was a Q&A session with our lawyers, who answered the children’s burning questions about the work of lawyers. The children left the party chirpily with gifts of bag packs which our volunteers filled up with essential sports gear and notes of encouraging messages. This initiative is sponsored by Rajah & Tann Foundation to bless more than 120 children under the Young Hearts programme in Yishun and Tampines with sports gifts and assessment books.
We are delighted to have spent the weekend with the children and we wish them a bright future ahead!
