Anna’s arrival comes at a time when intellectual property is at the centre of critical business questions, ranging from how companies protect and commercialise AI-driven innovations to navigating the intersection of IP strategy and data protection in an increasingly regulated landscape. As businesses look to monetise their innovations and manage complex IP portfolios across multiple jurisdictions, the demand for integrated advice spanning IP, technology and data protection is growing rapidly.
Anna brings a distinctive combination of legal and scientific expertise. She holds degrees in both law and life sciences with a specialisation in biomedical science, giving her a unique depth of expertise and understanding in the life sciences sector that complements her broad IP practice.
Her extensive experience spans IP portfolio management across multiple jurisdictions, technology and licensing arrangements, and related data protection and regulatory matters. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), reflecting her deep knowledge of the intersection of IP and data protection. She has worked with clients across a range of sectors, including life sciences, technology, consumer products, media and entertainment, and sports.
Notable examples of her work include advising on IP strategy, protection and portfolio management for international sports franchises and entertainment brands, negotiating licensing arrangements for pharmaceutical and foodtech companies, advising on cross-border patent disputes, and structuring software development and research collaboration agreements.
Anna is widely recognised by leading legal directories for her IP expertise. She has been named a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 Asia Pacific, a Rising Star in IP Stars by Managing IP, a Highly Recommended Transactions Professional in IAM Patent 300, and a Leading Trademark Professional in World Trademark Review 1000.
Anna joins the firm from a leading boutique IP and technology practice in Singapore, where she was a Director. She also holds leadership roles in international intellectual property organisations and currently serves as Asia-Pacific Vice-Chairperson of the Young Members’ Congress of the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), a global professional society for IP and technology licensing. Anna’s leadership role within the organisation reflects her standing in the international IP licensing community and will further strengthen the firm’s connections with IP professionals worldwide.
