She is Singapore and English qualified and has experience acting for financial institutions (including commercial banks, private banks, investment banks and hedge funds) and borrowers (including corporates, private equity, funds and government-linked companies) in a wide range of cross-border banking and finance transactions, with particular expertise in acquisition leveraged financing, project financing, structured financing and real estate/construction financing transactions. She has led numerous transactions with cross- border aspects in the region, including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, India, Malaysia, Korea and UAE.

  • Acting for the sponsors and the borrower in respect of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning and financing of a 2,000 TPD Ammonia Plant on 185 hectares of land in Banggai, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia worth about US$750 million, of which the International Finance Corporation has committed to provide US$500 million.
  • Acting for the lenders in the financing of the development, construction, operation and maintenance of a state of the art, high capacity fibre-optic submarine cable system connecting Hong Kong and Guam.
  • Acting for the sponsors in the financing of the development of a container terminal in Mumbai.
  • Acting for Resorts World at Sentosa in a S$4.19 billion financing facility for the development and operation of an integrated resort in Singapore.
  • Acting for the lenders in the financing for the construction of a 2 x 734 mw gas-fired power generating facility in Kaeng Khoi, Saraburi Province, Thailand.
  • Acting for the sponsors in the financing for the construction of a 2 x 717 MW coal-fired power generating facility in Map Ta Phut, Rayong Province, Thailand.
  • Acting for the lenders in the financing for the development and construction of a district cooling plant for the purpose of producing chilled water for sale to an integrated resort in Singapore.
  • Acting for the lenders in the financing for the construction of an Inside Battery Limit Tank Farm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Acting for the lenders in the financing for the construction of a 2,3000,000 m3 oil, petroleum and petrochemical storage and terminal project in Jurong Island, Singapore.

Real Estate Financing Transactions

  • Acting for the syndicate of lenders in the S$532 million syndicated senior secured facilities to finance the development and construction of a hotel, a theatre, retail space, a residential development and a retail podium at the Capitol theatre site in Singapore.
  • Acting for the consortium comprising Employee Provident Fund of Malaysia and GuocoLand of Singapore in the term loan facilities of S$1.8 billion to finance the development of a Grade A office building, residential apartments, a 5-star luxury hotel and retail space in Singapore.
  • Acting for the syndicate of lenders in the S$271.85 million syndicated term loan facilities to part finance the acquisition and construction of a mix industrial and commercial building in Singapore.
  • Acting for a Hong Kong conglomerate in the mezzanine financing for the construction and development of a S$2 billion residential, hotel, retail and office project in Singapore through subscribing for secured convertible notes.
  • Acting for the Borrower in a financing transaction involving aggregate credit facilities of HK$4.1 billion to finance the acquisition of a land at Kowloon, Hong Kong and the development of an office building thereon.
  • Acting for the Borrower in a HK$2.4 billion financing facility to finance the acquisition of land in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong and the development of an 11-storey ramp-up modern logistics centre.
  • Acting for the syndicate of lenders in a US$180 million credit facilities to the trustee of a real estate investment trust which is listed in Singapore secured against various shopping malls in Indonesia.
  • Acting for the lender in a facility to finance the acquisition of a giant observation wheel (The Singapore Eye) pursuant to a sale by the receiver and manager in a liquidation of the original owner.
  • Acting for the manager of a real estate investment trust which is listed on the Singapore Exchange Limited in relation to a rated term loan facility secured against a portfolio of industrial properties in Singapore.
  • Advising a hotel chain on the acquisition and financing of several 5-star hotels in Singapore, and advising on the tax structure pre and post acquisition.
  • Acting for various lenders and borrowers in relation to credit facilities for the purpose of financing the development of condominium projects, commercial projects, hotels and industrial buildings in Singapore.

  • Acting for the mandated lead arrangers in a S$1.76 billion facility to UT Singapore Services Pte Ltd to finance its acquisition of the business and certain assets of its parent, Universal Terminal (S) Pte Ltd, in connection with the restructuring of its parent.
  • Acting for the Borrower in the HK$18.8 billion bridging facility to finance its acquisition of a Hong Kong company which owns Festival Walk, a major retail mall with an office component located in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
  • Acting for a syndicate of banks in the HK$1.4 billion facility to China Merchants Holdings (Pacific) Limited to part finance the acquisition of 51% of the equity interest in Wenzhou Yongtaiwen Expressway, a toll road located in Zhejiang Province, China.
  • Acting for the borrower in relation to a financing facility for the acquisition of the majority stake of a publicly listed company in Singapore and its subsidiaries in the Philippines, USA, Hong Kong, China and India.
  • Acting for the borrower in relation to a financing facility for the takeover of a publicly listed company in Singapore.
  • Acting for the lenders in a facility to finance the borrower’s investment in a joint venture company in conjunction with the acquisition by the joint venture company of two Singapore companies and a substantial stake in a Singapore publicly listed company.
  • Acting for the borrower in relation to a financing facility for the acquisition of the businesses of a publicly listed company in Singapore and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong, China and USA.

  • Acting for a syndicate of lenders in a EUR 250 million borrowing base facility secured against biofuel stored in Italy and France.
  • Acting for a syndicate of lenders in a US$150 million prepayment facilities in relation to the advance payment of a commercial contract for the scheduled payment of gas, gas oil and gasoline. The facilities are partially covered by credit insurance and guaranteed by the Borrower’s parent in certain circumstances, with limited recourse to the Borrower.
  • Acting for a group of funds in a US$100 million borrowing base revolving credit facility secured against committed capital of the funds.
  • Acting for a syndicate of 12 banks in the S$2.16 billion syndicated facilities to Singtel in Singapore.
  • Acting for a syndicate of banks in a US$100 million term loan facility to an Indonesian company for the purpose of developing the company’s food related businesses in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
  • Acting for a fund in relation to a US$50 million term loan facility secured against the shares of 3 Indian public listed companies.
  • Acting for arrangers in relation to numerous syndicated facilities to Indian companies, including an Indian railway company and various Indian banks and Indian conglomerates.
  • Acting for arrangers in relation to numerous credit facilities to Korean companies, including Korean banks and Korean conglomerates.
  • Acting for an Indian conglomerate in relation to several syndicated facilities of up to US$1.1 billion.
  • Acting for the arranger in a US$40 million facility to a Bermuda company with security over the shares in an Indonesian company and shares options.

  • Acting for Gallant Venture Ltd in the establishment of its US$500 million Euro medium term note programme.
  • Acting for GuocoLand Limited and GLL IHT Pte Ltd in updating its S$3 billion multicurrency medium term note programme to increase the programme limit from S$1.5 billion to S$3 billion and to provide that, in addition to notes in bearer form, notes in registered form along with senior and subordinated perpetual securities may also be issued under the updated programme.
  • Acting for Koh Brothers Group Limited in the establishment of its S$250 million multicurrency medium term note programme.
  • Acting for arrangers in several Floating Rate Certificate of Deposit issuances by banks in Indonesia.
