🗻 YMCA Special Needs Inclusive Challenge 🗻
Rajah & Tann Foundation is proud to be sponsoring the YMCA of Singapore Special Needs Inclusive Challenge again this year!
In Singapore, this challenge sees special needs youths making weekly hikes along different scenic routes, with R&T volunteers hiking alongside them. The challenge will culminate with 10 special needs ambassadors scaling Mount Fuji in Japan in August this year.
We are thrilled that one of R&T’s volunteers will accompany the youths in their Mt Fuji attempt.
To launch this exciting challenge, the 16 June kick-off event was graced by Guest of Honour Denise Phua, Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar GRC. Our Partners from the Rajah & Tann Foundation Committee, Rebecca Chew Ming Hsien and Mui Hui Tan, celebrated with the team and joined hands in co-creation activities with good cheer.
We are excited to see how the challenge unfolds and hope that the hikes in Singapore and Japan will be a display of resilience and enthusiasm of all volunteers and youth ambassadors!
