A partner since 1997, Philip Tay is a senior member of the practice group. A senior litigator, Mr Tay specialises in Energy, International Trade and Commodities, Shipping, Shipbuilding and also Commercial disputes.
He has been appointed lead Counsel in numerous cases in the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal where he has argued several precedent setting reported cases. He also regularly appears as Counsel in International Arbitration and in Mediations.
He has represented international trading houses and traders, shipowners and operators, insurers, various commercial companies and also frequently advises and works in conjunction with international law firms.
